CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICE

RATIONALE

            In line with the vision and mission of La Consolacion College Manila, the Career and Placement Service of the College Department aims to carry out its responsibility in the formation of its students as globally competitive individuals who is able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of life and societal realities. 

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

This service aims to conduct activities that would enhance the students’ career awareness and planning.   It is also responsible in providing career counseling, facilitating employment readiness skills, provisions for continuing education, and job opportunities for students of all levels.

PROGRAM CONTENT

  1. Career Exploration and Planning

Counseling is provided to the students to identify individual needs and concerns regarding their personal-social well-being, career goals, and academic difficulties as a student in their search for a prospective employer.  This also involves the different career options and opportunities offered for each student, as well as the selection for appropriate programs or field of specialization.

It involves the administration and interpretation of psychological test to students to determine their personality, interest, ability, values, etc. to evaluate their preparedness for work and acceptability for employment
